About the Harrison Street x REPEC Case Competition
Spearheaded by REPEC's Faculty Advisor Mark Eppli, and three former executive board members – Lukas Schmidt, Michael Crivello, and Nick Fisher – the Harrison Street Case Competition will feature judges from Harrison Street, along with representatives from other Real Estate Private Equity firms. Teams of undergraduate and master's students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the top-ranked real estate program in the United States, are invited to participate in this case-based real estate competition. This provides an opportunity to work alongside leading industry executives and gain real-world experience.

Case Competition Leadership
Lukas Schmidt
Director of Operations
Senior, Class of 2024
Lukas is a founding member and former president of REPEC. He is currently the head of our club's Case Competition. This past summer, and continuing into this fall, Lukas has been working as an Analyst Intern at Avante Properties, a local Madison development firm. Previously, Lukas interned at Magnolia Capital, an investment management firm that operates in over 20 markets and has overseen transactions worth more than $2 billion.
Michael Crivello
Operations Officer
Senior, Class of 2024
Michael, previously the Vice President of REPEC, currently serves as the Lead Operations for the Case Competition. This past summer, Michael worked at Northwestern Mutual in their Real Estate Private Equity Group, where he will be joining upon graduation this upcoming spring.
Nick Fisher
Operations Officer
Senior, Class of 2024
Nick, the former communications chair for REPEC, is now a part of the club's case competition team, where he serves as an Operations Officer. This summer, Nick worked as a Brokerage Summer Intern at Founder 3, Wisconsin's largest independent full-service commercial real estate brokerage and management firm.
